About the Book

The detailed history of Birmingham's Medieval Augustinian Priory, largely demolished in the C16th, to be replaced by an up-market residential Square which, in turn, was demolished during central Birmingham's C19th re-deveopment.  Illustrated with nineteen b&w archive drawings and photographs.  Also includes, as appendices,  the fold-out family trees of C18th Square residents.  Hardback with gilt lettering to cover and a gilt top-edge.  147 pages.  Other than a slightly enthusiastic copper-plate inscription, the book is in very good condition.  Cat No A250
