From the Schenker collection 136 prehistoric seals of scribes, stewards and public servants dating from C8th-C6th BC are illustrated and described, some for the first time. Most show ancient Hebrew inscription but Aramaic, Phoenician, Ammonite and Moabite scripts are also represented.
