Student Finds Lost City in Mexican Jungle
During a Google search PhD student Luke Auld-Thomas found a Lidar remote sensing survey of a portion of the Mexican jungle which he was able to analyse to reveal a huge hidden Mayan city dating from the C8th. He was able to decipher a large city plan of houses, causeways and plazas with pyramids. Luke named the newly discovered city complex Valeriana.
