Three British institutions are in a tussle over the right to show the Bayeux Tapestry.  The British Museum had been assumed to be in pole position, if and when France delivers the renowned textile, but has been forced into a rearguard action by Historic Royal Palaces and English Heritage.  Read the full story in The Times
