Modern-day Kuwaitis recreate the voyages of the past by commissioning Indian boat builders, who still have the skills, to construct a 175-ton traditional arab dhow which they then sail from Calicut up the Arabian Sea to Bahrain and Kuwait.  A written record of the construction of the boat, and the methods employed to sail it, is accompanied by a wealth of colour photographs.  Hardback.  Cat No 3135
