About the Book

The Walbrook was a network of southward flowing streams converging into one main channel in the middle of the City of London before emptying into the Thames.  This study traces the history of the upper Walbrook from prehistoric to late Roman times by examining evidence from six excavations undertaken between 1981-84 and taking account of the site evidence, the wealth of small finds, environmental analysis and dendrochronological dating.  Large format paperback.  155 pages.  Good clean condition.  Cat No 3468
