Unearthed: Drawings from Dawe's Twineworks
Drawn images of found objects from the derelict Dawe's Twine Works in West Coker, Somerset originally surveyed by the Somerset Industrial Archaeology Society, and now undergoing restoration under the auspices of the Coker Rope & Sail Trust. Nine drawings are depicted full page with a description of each and include a C19th child's boot, a C18th German thaler, and a C19th clay pipe bowl. An essay on the history and restoration of the twineworks follows the drawings. As a loose insert, the separate booklet of poetry published to accompany the main work is also included.
