Portfolio of 50 large loose high quality colour photographs of Congolese wooden figure carvings and ceremonial masks.  Accompanying is a twenty-eight page booklet with an introductory essay on the topic, a map of the Congo basin indicating tribe locations and a detailed description of the subject of each photograph (text in French).  The Photographs and booklet are contained in a decorative card folder which in turn is in a very attractive wooden slipcase inscribed with the word 'UMBANGU'.  The portfolio and wooden slipcase are in excellent clean condition.  Cat No 2264
