SAVE's report published in support of its campaign to save for the nation the Victorian gothic revival masterpiece Tyntesfield House, its contents,and its estate, ahead of a possible private sale and break-up obligated to meet the inheritance of the deceased Lord Wraxall's heirs. A campaign that was ultimately successful when the house transferred to The National Trust for a price of £18.5m. This report includes colour photographs and archive illustrations alongside essays by leading architectural historians.
