About the Book

An academic study of the carved limestone statuette of Queen Tetisheri dating from the eighteenth dynasty which was purchased in Cairo by noted Egyptologist Wallis Budge for the Museum's collection in 1890.  The carving and, in particular, the figure's notable head-dress are given special scrutiny as are the spurious dedication hieroglyphics most likely added at a later date.  Illustrated with close-up b&w photographs and drawings.  Large paperback.  38 pages.  Good clean condition with no inscriptions or library markings.  Cat No 4430
