The author identifies two references to Deerhurst in one version of the Anglo-Saxon Chronicle reported as the meeting place between Edmund Ironside and Cnut. These references also refer to an island in the River Severn called Olney which the author concludes is the current remnant island known as The Naight very close to Odda's chapel in Deerhurst.  Paperback.  36 pages.  New condition.  Cat No 3401
