A history of the short-lived Glamorgan pottery and producer of the finest soft-paste porcelain in the early years of the C19th followed by reports on surveys and excavations carried out in 1931 under the auspices of the National Museum of Wales to establish the layout and extent of the pottery buildingd before these were lost for good.  Recovered kiln waste, porcelain fragments and a large quantity of clay pipe remnants are also reported and illustrated.  Fold-out site plan.  Paperback.  40 pages.  Obvious external signs of age but internally still good clean condition.  Ca No 4068
