A catalogue of a large collection of Khmer artefacts and sculptures assembled by the acknowledged authority Loius Finot during French rule in Indo-China during the early 1900's.  The lengthy and descriptive catalogue is preceded by an essay on the Khmer empire of the C9th and C10th, and followed by twelve b&w plates and a plan of the exhibition gallery in Hanoi.  The collection is now largely absorbed into the Vietnam National Museum of History.  Text in French.  Paperback.  170 pages.  Good condition.  Cat No N187
