The Handanija mosque built in 1617 in Prusac, Bosnia Herzegovina had become semi derelict and was subject to extensive restoration between 2003 and 2005 supported by the Swedish NGO ‘Cultural Heritage without Borders (CHwB)’ during which its original roofing timbers were reconstructed and preserved followed by a rehabilitation project for the interior.  This book documents the entire restoration and is illustrated with detailed architectural drawings and sixty full-colour photographs.  Bilingual text in English and Bosnian.  Paperback.  118 pages.  In near new condition.  Cat No N219
