About the Book

A locally published guide to the North China cave in which the fossilised remains of the extinct sub-species of Homo erectus were found in 1921 changing the course of human evolutionary research.  Paperback.  52 pages.  Illustrated throughout with b&w photographs plus four colour plates as frontispieces.  Good clean condition.  Interestingly, this copy contains the ex-libris stamp of the Hungarian charlatan, transvestite, cod-anthropologist Charlotte Bach (aka Karoly Hadju) who died in London in 1981.  Cat No 3822
