An extensive exhibition catalogue of the large collection of botanical paintings created in the late C18th and early C19th by Pierre-Joseph Redouté and collected by enthusiast Rachel Miller Hunt during the 1920’s.  An introductory essay on the life of the artist and the history of the collection precedes the catalogue itself which describes 200 watercolours and associated ephemera alongside 22 b&w illustrations and two full-page tipped-in colour plates.  Paperback.  126 pages.  In good clean condition.  Cat No 4725
