During the construction of the Canterbury ring road in 1962 a hoard of silver ingots and eleven silver spoons dating from the C4th were unearthed.  All recovered items are illustrated in large technical drawings and b&w plates.  The sppons are compared with a similar hoard found at Dorchester -on Thames in 1872 and now in the British Museum.  Paperback.  40 pages.  Good condition.  Cat No 4625
