A compilation of articles that first appeared in the 'Hong Kong Naturalist' in the 1930's written by an Irish Jesuit priest with a passion for the archaeology of this island off the Hong Kong mainland and covering Neolithic and Bronze Age sites with extensive detailed descriptions of stone and bronze axes, decorated pottery vessels, bronze swords and spears, arrow-heads, cast bronze vessels and jade or quartz discs and rings.  Many of the small finds are illustrated in line drawings or b&w plates.  Hardback.  278 pages.  Small number inscribed on end paper, otherwise good clean condition.  Cat No 3950
